in Worcestershire just over 16 miles of some of the most
beautiful countryside in the Midlands. Bridgnorth Home of
the Severn Valley since 1965, where guided tours of the
works are available to small parties.

wonderful machines the Spitfire and the Hurricane were both
built in Birmingham in what is today the Jaguar assembly
plant.
I am filled with awe at the fantastic bravery of these adopted
"Brummies" so too are the local people!.
Indeed so much so that nearby is the Spitfire Island Memorial
designed by the grandson of Tolkien author of The Lord of
the Rings" trilogy ... Tolkien was a resident of Birmingham
spending a number of years here .!!!
